US DOL Certified Gunsmith Apprenticeship Program |
Gunsmithing is our last name, and our first priority. At the risk of sounding "preachy," we truly believe that to be called a Gunsmith, one must meet the standard above. Even our apprentices are, in fact, more knowledgeable than many who call themselves by the title. It's why we are a certified US Dept. of Labor Gunsmithing Apprenticeship Program—when someone is called a Gunsmith here, they've earned it.
We constantly add tools, training, machines, staff, infrastructure--in short, services. Questions? See our Gunsmith FAQs or feel free to contact us! Below is pricing for our most popular services. We don't want to maintain a complete online price list, so feel free to email or call us if you don't see your needs listed here.

A note on pricing:Generally we price per service—a sight change is $45 for example. That applies to "predictable services"—refinishing, swapping out parts, jeweling & checkering—you will know the cost upfront. Here it comes...BUT when performing diagnose & repairs, "extreme" cleanings, and certain hellish operations on particular guns, we cannot always give advance pricing. Here is what we CAN guarantee: No surprises. If we can't give you an upfront price, we'll agree on how to handle it before we do the work. We'll find something that works for both of us—call before proceeding, set a "not to exceed" amount—whatever works. The average labor on an "unspecified" diagnose and repair is around $60 to give you a ballpark. On the rare occasion we discover we can't meet the up-front price, we'll call before we proceed, and you choose whether to authorize the work. We're a family owned business in an industry that Google, Facebook and most mainstream media will not accept advertising from at all. We want you to be happy and tell your friends:) We work hard to be fair to both of us on pricing, and give you excellent work quality and service. As far as we know, we've only had one customer we ate it on. (Come back, Ted. We fixed it. Give us another chance to make it right.) |
