Proprietary heat-cured Cerakote scope process.

Scopes used to be Cerakoted (is that a word?) with their air cured formula because the heat level used in curing can damage sensitive scopes. Not anymore, sweet! We developed a process years ago to use the more durable, heat cured formula without damaging scopes, cavalierly using it with the finest brands on the market, including  Leupold, Steiner, Swarovski and Zeiss. They're fully cured and durable, and suffer no ill effects from the process. We were the first to do this, and we're the only shop on the continent who has been doing this for years—with ZERO DAMAGE. Seriously, ever. (Happy dance...) 

So of course, owners of a shiny new Browning X-Bolt, Christensen Arms Mesa, Weatherby Vanguard or Ruger American Go-Wild have been turning to GCG for Cerakoted scopes ever since. Over 2000 of them so far--all brands and colors. Our experienced Optics Department will work closely with you on your preferences and options; we'll help size your mounts and are happy to provide guidance on hardware choices for your particular needs--sort of your own personal Scope Concierge ha! Our professional finish quality is peerless, and we color match by weight using specific densities of each color. And with the recent opening of our bigger, better equipped Cerakote shop—quality and volume are up.

You can do this two ways: send in your scope & accessories, or purchase them through us Cerakoted to order. We do offer discounts on the Cerakote when you purchase through us. Our scope prices are pretty much the same as everyone else's, so you usually end up dollars ahead. Currently, we do this to order and rarely have any scopes in stock already Cerakoted. 

Step 1: The Optic

• Yours: Send it on in. See Pricing and Out-of-Towners for details.
• Ours: Purchase through us and have it coated: Email us for a quote, or check our online store. Many items are there, but not everything—so do ask if you don't see your choice.

Step 2: The Mounts

• Yours: Send them in with your scope. One set of mounts or accessory is included with your "Out the Door" price. Yes, if you bought the Browning ones, send in the screws and we'll coat them. (Note: Picatinny rails are a little extra—see pricing.)
• Ours: We stock a full line of Leupold and Talley/Browning mounts. Our prices are significantly lower than color matched mounts we've seen anywhere else, and we take the guesswork out of sizing. We'll size them with the manufacturer for your setup, and Cerakote to match for one low price.

Step 3: Other Stuff

Flip-up covers, sunshades, sling swivels, leveling rings, bipods, rails, magazines & anything else you want to match: same deal—yours or ours.

• Yours: Send them in and we'll Cerakote to match. See pricing.
  
• Ours: Many of these accessories won't appear in our online store—just let us know and we'll get you info.
