When Ted hit Google one fine Texas evening looking for ways to make his fiery Coonan 357 Mag a little more fun at the range, he happened across "Calming the Coonan" from our wee young days. A few calls and emails later, his own Coonan was on it's way to Manhattan, Illinois for a full metal checkering, front and back.

Ruger LC9S Gets a MakeoverFirst, we hand-engraved the slide on 3 sides. Then we went to town with a custom Cerakote job. The frame is subtly patterned with Copper Brown and Federal Brown, overlaid with light touches of Robin's Egg Blue.
This tough guy got his stripes last month (sorry, just love puns--it's a personal flaw.) The owner wanted to keep his gorgeous wood grips, so we did a custom mix on the Burnt Bronze base coat to pick up the lightest striations in the wood. Stripes are a Graphite Black/Burnt Bronze custom mix. We surprised him with a matching stainless can cooler, which we're sure he will only use for soft drinks while shooting :) See more recent work...
Above: After. Below: Before. This Remington 870, 12 gauge, was a favorite deer hunting shotgun. A simple furniture change produced dramatic results.
A new deep Russian Red finish brought out the beauty of this Egyptian AK-47. The matte hand-oiled finish keeps it true to it’s roots.
