ROAD TRIP! Neighbors, time to stand up and be counted. Tired of being punished for the lawless acts of others? If Illinois gun owners make this the largest iGold ever, it will send a clear message to those who curtail our rights in a misguided attempt to stop criminals. ​

To take the sting out of missing a day of work and driving for hours...

we're joining the Aurora Sportsmans Club and heading down on luxury coaches with tvs and potties. We'll bring carafes of Black Rifle Coffee, tasty snacks and coolers with refreshing libations, wink, wink, nudge, nudge. Buses leave from Louis Joilet Mall @ 7am. Tickets are $27.

So put in for the day off, make your voice heard, and have a little fun while your at it. See you there!

Legislation In Process--Last 2 Mo.

• ​SB 107: “Assault Weapons Ban”: Bans ANY GUN that CAN ACCEPT a mag of more than 10 rounds; has folding or thumbhole stock, suppressor, or handguard; shotguns 6+ rnd mag tube. All existing must be registered w/ State Police, $25 each.
• HB 1467: Registry of Ammo Sales: Requires State Police to create SEARCHABLE DATABASE of all ammo sales, public or private. Seller—public or private— must log and report this info.
• HB 2331: Firearms & Components Tax: 3.75% Additional Tax on all firearms and components.
• HB 174 & 899 “Responsible Gun Ownership”: Revokes FOID of anyone not reporting firearm theft within 3 days of occurrence. Also revokes if any person has 3 or more thefts in 2 years.
• HB 888: Social Media: Requires police to search your social media accounts for every background check

New Laws--Last 6 Mo.

• In Effect “Red Flag” Law: Revokes FOID without notification or person’s presence—no criminal act or evidence needed; Confiscates their guns up to one year. 3 Day waiting period for rifles.
• Eff. June 2019 “Dealer Licensing Act”: Requires FFLs to pay $1500 fee and comply with myriad requirements, many vaguely worded. Oversight by newly created Board.
